You Can Visit All Nature Reserves in Lebanon For Free Tomorrow!

As part of National Nature Reserves Day, Environment Minister Fadi Jreissati opens wide the doors of Lebanon Natures Reserves to the public, free of charge, on Sunday 10th of March.

"Our reserves will be open to the Lebanese people to benefit from, visit and discover the beauty of Lebanon," he announced in a meeting with The Nature Reserve Committees in Lebanon. "This is Lebanon we aim for and want the world to see."

He added, "Lebanon  is famous for its Eco-tourism sector, so we hope to coordinate with the friend and Minister of Tourism Avidis Kedanian in order to promote Lebanon to the world" 

Mr. Jreissati ascertained that "The reserves belong to the Lebanese people and the future generations, and it's our duty to protect them, and we aim to change them to become even better."

"Sunday 10th of March is a national wedding for the environment and our reserves and the entry will be free to all the reserves, so benefit from this day."

This Sunday, you should never miss the chance to visit some of Lebanon's 14 natural reserves, these reserves form 3% of Lebanon's area.
