In support of the families of the Beirut Blast victims, the newspaper Annahar collaborated with the acclaimed Lebanese designer Zuhair Murad in a project to “dress Beirut in the dress of life.”

In a “message of hope,” as Annahar called it, Zuhair Murad created a dress made of mesh used in the restoration of buildings damaged by the August 4 explosion.

The #RedressLebanon campaign will be in support of the victims of the Beirut port explosion and their families, as the campaign will be selling 10,452 NFTs of the dress to raise funds for them.

The number corresponds to the country’s size, 10,452 km2, and a patriotic slogan used in the last decades to proclaim Lebanon’s sovereignty.

The proceeds of the #RedressLebanon campaign will also go to the IDRAAC NGO, an association dealing with mental health.
