In the early hours of Saturday, the Israeli military announced the interception of a surface-to-air missile launched from Lebanon at an Israeli drone.
According to Israeli media, the drone was unharmed and continued its mission. The Israeli military’s statement clarified that in response to this incident, an intercepting missile was also launched.
Subsequently, Israeli fighter jets targeted Hezbollah’s infrastructure as a “retaliatory measure.”
This latest exchange of fire underscores the ongoing hostilities and the absence of a cease-fire agreement, signaling a continued escalation in the conflict.
