Opposition Candidate, Ramy Fanj, Just Secured A Seat In North II District

Minister of Interior and Municipalities Bassam Mawlawi declared Tuesday, May 17th the name of the electoral winners of the Lebanese Elections 2022 for the North II district.

The list issued confirms that the opposition candidate, Rami Fanj from the Revolt for Justice and Sovereignty electoral list, secured a Sunni seat in the parliament.

The previous minister Faisal Karami could not secure a seat.

The North II district covers Tripoli, Minnieh, and Dennieh. According to Mawlawi the percentage of voters there reached 38.05%.
