The 92nd Academy Awards did not stop with the Oscars being handed out. There is always a party after the Party! And no stars would ever miss that opportunity to be seen wearing glorious designs nor to be listed among “the best-dressed stars.”
The glamorous event of the Vanity Fair afterparty was held in Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, and several of these jaw-dropping gowns carried the names of Lebanese designers.
#1 Kerry Washington
Zuhair Murad’s newest Egyptian-inspired couture collection has left the world in awe. This two-piece gown of heavily beaded gold has become one of the most talked-about dresses in the celebrity world.
#2 Tracee Ellis Ross
Also from Zuhair Murad’s newest Ancient-Egypt-inspired collection, a glorious golden gown and cape with shimmering sequins; a Sun-like appearance as Murad represented Ra, the ancient Sun deity, in various of his new pieces.

The silver metallic dress was designed by no other than our beloved George Chakra who recently presented his Spring/Summer collection at Paris Fashion Week.
#5 Molly Sims
Molly Sims seems to have the Lebanese designers on her list of favorites this season. She wore a gorgeous gown designed by Zouhair Murad at the Oscar 2020 event and went for this outstanding gown by George Chakra for the after-party.
#6 Diane Kruger
This American-German actress appeared at the afterparty dazzling and elegantly imposing with her asymmetric metallic gown designed by Elie Saab.

Another dress that has made it to the “best dresses” of the afterparty this year was worn by Crissy Teigen; an audacious gown of generous flows and a daring slit, by the also famous Lebanese designer Georges Hobeika.
