Smoke in the skies above Beirut is becoming a disturbing trend. On Tuesday, a fire broke out in the southern Beirut suburb of Ouzai – an area near the Beirut Airport.
The fire is reportedly from a paint warehouse, causing residents nearby to go in a panic. No injuries have been reported.
According to NNA, the Head of the Civil Defense Service and Operations Division, George Abou Moussa, said that the Civil Defense is on the site working to extinguish the fire.
The news comes in parallel with a violent explosion in the town of Ain Qana in South Lebanon. Its reasons are still unknown.
Tuesday morning also saw a fire pluming from the Tripoli port, coming from a ship. It was reportedly caused by welding work.
