Today, 15 young ladies competed for the crown of Miss Lebanon 2017. The annual event got held at Casino du Liban. Dima Sadek was the host of the show. Miss Lebanon 2016, Sandy Tabet, gave the crown to Perla Helo. In the final stage, the same question was asked to the five finalists which was: “Can protests change the situation in Lebanon?” The participants were stressed, so they did not answer with their full potential. Sandy Tabet mentioned that she received a lot of criticism ever since she won Miss Lebanon 2016. However, she chose to remain strong. Sandy concluded her speech by telling people not to judge the contestants by their looks only because they are beautiful people from the inside.
