In collaboration with Banin Charity Association, the German detergent brand Persil distributed 10,452 cleaning boxes across Lebanon as part of Banin’s charitable “10,452 initiative.”
It is an initiative to support 10,452 families with food boxes worth 200,000 LBP. Persil joined in on the action to provide cleaning supplies alongside Banin’s food procurement.
They aim to support Lebanese families in need and lift part of their burden during these trying times.
“From North to South, from Beirut to Nabatieh, from Mount Lebanon to Bekaa and to Akkar, we strive to make a difference,” Persil wrote on their social media.
The specific number of boxes is also a symbolic gesture of one box for every km2 of Lebanon since the country is just 10,452 km2.
“During hard times, we stand together. From our hearts to the heart of your home!” wrote the brand.
