Pizza Hut has announced its reopening in Lebanon after having shut down all its branches earlier this year due to the deteriorating economic situation.
Pizza Hut wasn’t the only international chain in Lebanon to close down. Adidas, Victoria’s Secret, and Pinkberry all shut down due to the same reason.
Lebanon’s deteriorating economy makes a difficult environment for these businesses. The unstable exchange rate has caused prices of all items to rise, affecting both businesses and Lebanese citizens alike.
Despite this, the chain is set to reopen soon under new management, after six months of closing.
Its closing announcement said back then, “We will hold onto these memories until we make new ones”. Now, its announcement bears better news: “We’re coming back to make better memories.”
