The President of the Republic, Michel Aoun, met the US Ambassador to Lebanon, Dorothy Shea, and received from her a written message from the American mediator, Amos Hochstein, regarding the proposals related to the demarcation of the southern maritime borders.
Shea also visited PM Najib Mikati and handed him the proposal of the American mediator Hochstein, regarding the demarcation of the borders.
Aoun contacted parliament speaker Nabih Berri and PM Najib Mikati and consulted with them regarding the offer of the American mediator Hochstein and how to proceed to give a Lebanese response as soon as possible.
