The inflated prices in the market are expected to decrease by the end of the week, now that the USD exchange rate is settling at approximately LBP 27,500.
The Minister of Economy and Trade explained that a new list of prices will be distributed to the supermarkets.
The stores in Lebanon should start abiding by the new prices within 48 hours of receiving the updated list.
