On Thursday, Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, arrived in Lebanon ahead of the Arab League meeting.
The Qatari Minister was received at Beirut Airport by Lebanon’s Caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, Abdullah Bou Habib.
He was accompanied by Qatar’s Ambassador to Lebanon, Ibrahim bin Abdulaziz Al-Sahlawi, and Lebanon’s Ambassador to Qatar, Farah Berri, as well as the Deputy Director of Protocol, Consul Salam Al-Ashqar.
Minister Bou Habib previously stated that the rest of the ministers and the Arab League Secretary-General are expected to arrive in Beirut on Friday.
The delegation will be held for 2 days this weekend in Lebanon before the next Arab League Summit in Algeria this November.
