The Radisson Hotel Group Is Stepping Up In Support For Beirut

@christian.atallah | hotelnewsresource.com

On August 4th, Beirut was struck by a disaster of epic proportions. Until now, it seems that ill-fated cargo is the culprit. Efforts to provide aid to Lebanon’s reeling capital city Beirut are continuous, generous, and encouraging.

Nearly a month later, the Radisson Hotel Group stepped up to show support to Lebanon by partnering up with two local charities: SOS Lebanon and the Lebanese Red Cross.

The hospitality giant hopes this partnership will build awareness to help those in need.

To help Beirut heal from this catastrophe, it will be raising funds for both SOS Lebanon, which helps protect vulnerable children, and the Lebanese Red Cross, which has been the main humanitarian force on the ground.

“At this moment, it is important that the world stands together with Lebanon and provides the humanitarian support that its people urgently require to stand on their feet again,” said Tim Cordon, area senior vice president of the Middle East & Africa, Radisson Hotel Group.

In addition, loyalty members can simply opt to convert their points to cash that will go directly to the charities.
