Lebanon ranks 7th in the Middle East in Global Talent Competitiveness Index

The Global Talent Competitiveness Index 2018 is a

report

that was released by INSEAD Business School. The index shows “how countries and cities grow, attract and retain talent,” according to

sources

. The study helps decision makers understand the talent in the global market. The following countries topped the ranking:

  1. Switzerland
  2. Singapore
  3. The U.S.
  4. Norway
  5. Sweden
  6. Finland
  7. Denmark
  8. U.K.
  9. Netherlands
  10. Luxembourg

The report, which was done in partnership with the Adecco Group and Tata Communications, includes 119 countries. Lebanon ranked 60th globally and 7th among 13 countries in the Middle East. A country’s score is the average of its scores of the six pillars which are:

  • Enable (87)
  • Attract (79)
  • Grow (62)
  • Retain (91)
  • Vocational and Technical skills (41)
  • Global Knowledge skills (34)
The numbers in parentheses are Lebanon’s scores.

Indeed, Lebanon is shining in the region. The
