Registration Is Now Open For The Exciting Beirut International Marathon

Registration for the 20th edition of the Beirut International Marathon is now open, as the region’s most anticipated sporting event will be taking place on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at Beirut Waterfront.

The event will comprise many races, one of which is the marathon, and will also organize exciting entertainment, depicting Beirut’s and Lebanon’s history and artistic side.

The Beirut International Marathon will be hosting participants from different age groups, here are the details:

  • For the Marathon: 18 – 19 Years, 20 – 34 Years, 35 – 39 Years, 40 – 44 Years, 45 – 49 Years, 50 – 54 Years, 60 – 64 Years, 65 – 69 Years, 70 Years+
  • For the Half-Marathon: 17 – 19 Years, 20 – 34 Years, 35 – 39 Years, 40 – 44 Years, 45 – 49 Years, 50 – 54 Years, 60 – 64 Years, 65 – 69 Years, 70 Years+
  • For the 10 KM Race: 16- 17 Years, 18 – 19 Years, 20 – 34 Years, 35 – 39 Years, 40 – 44 Years, 45 – 49 Years, 50 – 54 Years, 60 – 64 Years, 65 – 69 Years, 70 Years+

The marathon is also organizing 5 races, including the 42.195 KM Marathon (Timed Race); 21.1 KM Half-Marathon (Timed Race); the 21.1 KM Para-Athletes (Timed Race); and the 10 KM Race (Timed Race).

The participant will also get the chance to “Run For A Cause,” a 5 KM race (Not Timed), and help the many NGOs selected. The race is also open to all ages.

Registrations will close on October 15th. Participants must register before then if they don’t want to miss this exciting event.
