The results of this year’s official exams in Lebanon will be released on Monday afternoon. The announcement was made on Saturday by the Education Ministry Director-General and Head of the Examining Committees, Fadi Yarak.
The results for all four branches of the Baccalaureate exams, along with the results of the Brevet exams of individual applicants, will be released on Monday, August 16th, at 5 PM, according to Yarak.
For students who have passed and intend to travel, their diplomas will be available on Tuesday, in the Education Ministry’s Examinations Department building, in Bir Hassan, Mount Lebanon.
These students must hold documents proving that they intend to travel when picking up their diplomas.
The Baccalaureate exams, which had been a source of anxiety for students across Lebanon for the past few months, were concluded on Saturday, July 31st.
The exams went relatively well, in part thanks to the fact that the committees that determine exam materials were exceptionally lenient with the questions due to the difficult circumstances in Lebanon.
The same circumstances had led to the cancelation this year of the Grade-19 Brevet official exams, with the possibility that Brevet will be entirely annulled from Lebanon’s education system in the future.
