Lebanese Sami-Joe Abi Nakhle excelled for the 3rd time in a row in the eSports WRC Championship by claiming first place at Croatia Rally, which took place between April 15 and April 18.

Following a not-so-promising start to the season, the Lebanese athlete started succeeding in the recent weeks, as he claimed numerous victories in Wales, Belgium, and now in Croatia.

With his triumph, Sami-Joe has taken the lead in the overall season standings.

The eSports WRC is an online rally competition based on the WRC 8 computer game, which sponsors drivers from around the world to play against each other.

The competition will now restart its 7th round from Japan on April 29 until May 2.

Sami-Joe Abi Nakhle is a sponsored driver by Thrustmaster, an American-French developer of video game accessories.

He had previously won many awards, including the eSports World Rally Champion, the 2020-2021 eSports WRC MVP, and the 2021 MENA Digital GT Champion; and is one of the Lebanese karting champions.
