Here Are The Results Of Today’s Secretaries & Commissioners’ Election In The Lebanese Parliament

The Lebanese Parliament today, September 16, in its session discussing the country’s budget for 2022, agreed to triple the salaries of public sector employees, including soldiers, retirees, and contractors, as part of social assistance.

Today, Tuesday, the Lebanese parliament held a mandatory session, in accordance with the constitution and the rules of procedure, to elect two secretaries and three commissioners.

MP Hadi Abul-Hassan won in the first round of electing a secretary for the parliament Bureau, after obtaining 85 votes against 30 votes for MP Mark Daou.

In the second round of electing the second secretary, MP Alan Aoun won the position of secretary by acclamation.

MPs Michel Moussa and Karim Kabbara won, by acclamation, the position of commissioners in the parliament’s bureau.

MP Hagop Pakradounian won the position of commissioner in the parliament bureau with 85 votes, while MP Paula Yacoubian won 23 votes, against 7 blank papers.
