Unidentified individuals set fire to a Syrian Social Nationalist Party (SSNP) ambulance parked in Bayssour Town, Aley, City, Mount Lebanon Governorate.
This incident comes after an attack on the SSNP headquarters in the Jdita area the previous day, where the perpetrators raised the flag of the Lebanese Forces party.
According to reports, an incendiary device was thrown at the party’s headquarters in an attempt to ignite a fire.
In response, the SSNP issued a statement accusing certain individuals in Lebanon of exploiting a recent theft and murder incident to sow discord and undermine the resistance.
They sternly warned that any assault on their facilities would not be tolerated and pointed fingers at the Lebanese Forces, alleging their alignment with Israeli interests.
However, the LF denied any involvement in the incident and condemned it, asserting their commitment to peaceful political action.
The Progressive Socialist Party and other political entities also condemned the incident in Bayssour cautioning against efforts to fuel internal strife amidst heightened tensions following the murder of LF official Pascal Sleiman in Jbeil district.
The SSNP is a Syrian Nationalist party that operates in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, and Palestine. It advocates for creating a Greater Syrian Nation-state, encompassing territories across the Fertile Crescent, including Syria, Lebanon, and others based on shared historical and geographical ties.
