The winter season in Lebanon has begun welcoming with it the opening of ski resorts.
People around this time seek an escape from reality and take advantage of the cold weather by enjoying a fun time skiing on the glistening snow with their friends and family.
We reached out to ski resorts in Lebanon to see what they’re charging this season and here’s what they told us:
Mzaar Ski Resort-Kfardebian
Being the largest ski resort in the middle east, Mzaar Ski Resort offers activities from skiing and snowboarding to zip lining.
Their opening hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during the weekdays and 4:00 p.m. during the weekends.
They are charging:
- $30 for adults and $25 for children during the weekdays.
- $50 for adults and $35 for children during the weekends.
Season passes are available for:
- $450 for adults and $350 for children with access to Domain du Soleil.
- $600 for adults and $450 for children with access to all slopes.
The rental equipment available range from $3 to $50 depending on what you need.

Teleskis Des Cedres-Bsharri
A beautiful resort surrounded by Lebanon’s emblem the cedar tree, Teleskis Des Cedres offers great ski slopes and an excellent view.
They are running from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on both weekdays and weekends.
They charge:
- $25 for adults and $20 for children on the weekdays.
- $30 for adults and $25 for children on the weekends.
Seasonal passes are not available and the rental equipment available at the resort range from $10 to $20.

Faqra Club- Kfardebian
A beautiful escape from the city, Faqra Ski Resort, having an altitude of 1,550m, offers both skiing and snowboarding with a mesmerizing view of the capital Beirut.
Their ski slopes will be active all week from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
They are charging:
- $30 for adults and $20 for children during the weekdays.
- $40 for adults and $30 for children during the weekends.
No seasonal passes are available.
It ranges from $5 to $50 on equipment depending on what you are getting.

Qanat Bakish
Known for its scenery and overlooking the Keserwan area, Qanat Bakish a small, quiet resort offers enjoyment for skiers of all levels and high-quality snow.
Their slopes operate from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the weekdays and till 4:30 p.m. during the weekends.
They are charging:
- $17 for both adults and children on the weekdays.
- $20 for both adults and children on the weekends.
You can rent your ski equipment from the resort for $5.
They do not offer seasonal passes.

Zaarour Club
The closest ski resort to Beirut, with it, only an hour away, Zaarour club provides people with many amazing winter activities including skiing accompanied by spectacular views.
Their opening hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on both weekdays and weekends.
They charge:
- $25 for adults and $30 for children during the weekdays.
- $40 for adults and $30 for children during the weekends.
Their seasonal passes are available for $400 for adults and $ 300 for children.
You can also rent equipment at the slopes from shops available there for $6 to $12.

Laklouk Ski Resort
Laklouk ski resort, located at an altitude of 1,750m, is the best suited for cross-country and intermediate-level skiing. The resort is known for its great slopes along with its beautiful surroundings of thousands of trees.
Their slopes open on both weekends and weekdays at 8:00 a.m.
They are charging :
- $22 for adults and children on weekdays.
- $30 for adults and children on weekends.
You can also benefit from a seasonal pass for $200.
Equipment and accessories are available at the slopes that range from $2 to $20.
