In a significant escalation, an Israeli airstrike targeted Beit Yahoun, a town in Lebanon’s Bint Jbeil district.
This attack resulted in the loss of five Hezbollah members, including Abbas Mohammad Raad, the son of Mohammad Raad, a prominent Hezbollah MP and leader of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc. Hezbollah has since issued statements, both mourning and honoring the deceased.
The casualties, hailing from various towns in Southern Lebanon, were identified as Abbas Mohammad Raad, Khalil Jawad Shehimi, Ahmad Hassan Mustafa, Mohammad Hassan Ahmad Sheri, and Bassam Ali Kanjo.
