Spanish Army Honors Lebanon During Spain’s National Day Parade!

Two Lebanese soldiers held the Lebanese and the Spanish flags during the Fajr Al Jurud military operation to

pay tribute

to the victims of the terror attack in Barcelona as well as to all the victims in the world. In fact, a young man drove a van down a popular pedestrian area called Las Ramblas. He ended up killing 13 people.

Lebanese Army honored in Spain!

Yesterday, Spain celebrated its National Day. During the military parade, the Spanish Army held the Lebanese flag to honor the soldiers who raised the Spanish flag in honor of the victims of the Barcelona attack. The Ministry of National Defense Yacoub Sarraf attended the parade after he got invited by King Felipe VI. He said that Lebanon stands in solidarity with all the countries that are facing terrorism. Sarraf also met the Spanish Minister of Defense María Dolores de Cospedal García and discussed military cooperation between the two countries.
