‘Speak’ By Lebanese Yvan Chamoun Is Nominated At Dos Lagos Film Festival In Hollywood

The film “Speak” by the Lebanese director Yvan Chamoun was nominated for the category of Best Public Awareness Video (PSA) at the Dos Lagos Film Festival in Hollywood.

“The participation is very important, as the nomination of a Lebanese film in Hollywood is an important indicator that Lebanese youth can reach the world of film and cinema,” he said.

The short film aims at educating and helping women to speak up and report all cases of any kind of sexual harassment.

Previously, the young and acclaimed Lebanese director won the International Motion Picture Awards in Canada for his film “Yala Tnam.”

The psychological thriller led him also to win the Outstanding Digital Production and Storytelling Student Award during the American University in Dubai (AUD) Annual Gala.
