Spinneys in Lebanon Is Not Closing Down

Word spreads quickly thanks to the internet. Recently, the talk of the town was that Spinneys Lebanon would be closing very soon. However, that’s not true.

Apparently, some news outlets announced that several supermarkets, including Spinneys, decided to shut their doors for a whole week starting Monday, May 4th.

In response, Spinneys issued a statement on their social media debunking the fake news. The supermarket’s management announced that all Spinneys branches will remain open to welcome its customers from 8 AM to 9 PM daily.

The false news was so alarming that many people were quick to share the word with their friends and families over WhatsApp, urging them to stock up before the supermarket closed for good.

With the fact that Coca-Cola just shut down in Lebanon and that Nestle announced increasing its prices, anything is believable.

Rest assured if you still shop at Spinneys, it will be open every day from 8 AM to 9 PM.
