A stray bullet pierced a plane belonging to Middle East Airlines (MEA) carrying several passengers, including Lebanese MP Paula Yacoubian.
According to what Yacoubian shared on her Twitter account, the plane was hit after it arrived at the Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport from Jordan on Thursday.
“Instead of good morning, we must say to each other, Alhamdulillah for your safety. Uncontrolled weapons and stray bullets must be put to an end,” the Lebanese MP stated.
Investigations are still underway to determine the source of the bullet and the details of the incident.
