Swiss International Air Lines has announced a temporary suspension of its flights between Switzerland and Beirut until October 28.
The decision comes in light of increasing tensions on the Lebanon-Israel border. “SWISS places top priority on the safety of its passengers and crew,” the airline stated, adding that an extension of the conflict “cannot be ruled out at this time.”
Four flights are expected to be affected by this suspension.
