Touch mobile operator indicated that a failure occurred in one of the company’s main broadcast centers, which led to the decline in data service via the fourth generation (4G) technology in Beirut and some neighboring areas.
The company apologized to its subscribers for any inconvenience caused by the decline in data service, and said that its technical teams are doing their best efforts to fix the malfunction as soon as possible and to restore the 4G service to its normal operation.
Aside from technical issues, mobile operators like many internet service providers in Lebanon are suffering from the fuel shortage in their broadcast stations, which often leads the station to fall out of service.
