Terrorist Group Planning Attacks On The Lebanese Army Arrested In Bekaa

The Intelligence Directorate referred to the competent judiciary members of a terrorist cell who were arrested in a town in western Bekaa after a series of security operations carried out in the area.

They were seized with weapons and military munitions and were found to be linked to a terrorist organization, and they carried out shootings and military exercises in the barrens of the region.

In a statement, the army said that the arrested group “planned to strike military centers and exchanged aerial photos of those centers” and that a person outside Lebanese territory is managing them.
