Lebanese Army Breaks Down Beirut Blast Compensation Plan

The Lebanese Army issued a statement announcing that it has resumed the distribution of compensations to those affected by the deadly Beirut explosion of August 4th, 2020.

According to the statement, a sum of around 3,126,000,000 LBP was distributed to 381 households that benefited from these compensations as classified in the medium and sub-average structural damage zones [most affected to least affected zones by the Beirut Blast].

The benefited areas include Karantina, Mar Mikhael, Gemmayze, Karm El Zeytoun, Corniche Al Mazraa, Geitawi, Sassine, Madwar, Al Roum, Rizk, Al Aadliye, and Tabariz

The distribution process will continue on January 18th in the above-mentioned areas, in addition to Bourj Hammoud, the seafront of Dora, Sin EL Fil, and Mazraa.
