There’s Been No Electricity In Nabatieh For The Last 5 Days

Electricity has been cut off in the 42 towns and villages within the Nabatieh district for the fifth day in a row – leaving the people in the area exasperated and angry.

The electricity problem generated a water problem as the water generators couldn’t operate due to the lack of electricity and the fuel prices.

The situation continues to disrupt everyday life as families and restaurants suffer from food rotting in fridges.

The available alternatives are subscription generators or using private generators, which are both expensive.

Families are calling for the government to take action.
