I’ve always wondered what runs through an astronaut’s head when they’re floating around in space looking down at Earth. Especially at night when it’s all dark and the cities are lit up bright.

It must be remarkable to see cities without their conflicts, politics, religions, crime and, in our case, garbage. Luckily, these images show what Beirut and other world cities look like from space, and they are astounding!
