Two Lebanese Set New National Records At IAU WC 100K World Championships In Berlin

The Lebanese Athletics delegation, consisting of Kathia Rached, Chawky Reaidy, and Ali Kedami participated in the 31st IAU WC 100K World Championships, in Berlin, Germany.

During the championship, Lebanese athletes Kathia Rached and Chawky Reaidy achieved in setting new National Lebanese Records.

Here are the details:

Kathia Rached set a new record for Lebanon at 9 hours 7 minutes and 31 seconds, as her previous record was 9 hours 14 minutes, and 14 seconds.

According to Arasportslb, she was the first among the Middle Eastern countries participants to arrive at the finish line.

Lebanese Chawky Reaidy also set a new record for men at 11 hours 37 minutes 14 seconds. His previous record was 11 hours 47 minutes and 44 seconds.

The athlete Ali Kedami also improved his record, recording 12 hours 11 minutes 49 seconds.

It is worth noting that 109 men runners and 89 women runners from 44 countries participated in the 31st IAU WC 100K World Championships.
