Two Lebanese Restaurants Were Just Awarded The Prestigious Michelin Guide’s Bib Gourmand

The Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi 2023 presented its very first selection of 42 restaurants in the capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Three restaurants were recognized with a Michelin Star, and four establishments received the prestigious Bib Gourmand distinction for offering the best food at moderate prices.

Amongst the 42 restaurants recognized, two Lebanese restaurants were awarded the Bib Gourmand:

Almayass

Located in The Galleria, Al Maryah Island, Abu Dhabi, Almayass got a nod from the Michelin Guide inspectors for its distinguished Lebanese and Armenian cuisine.

First founded in Beirut in 1996, the restaurant then expanded to Abu Dhabi, where it serves delicious food with flavorful and carefully prepared dishes in a unique ambiance.

Beirut Sur Mer

Beirut Sur Mer in Al Saadiyat Cultural District, Abu Dhabi, is an elegant restaurant with a stunning sea view and offering signature specialties, such as Lebanese mezze and seafood.

The restaurant was awarded a Bib Gourmand for its mezze to grill and price, as well as for its colorful dining room and beachfront terrace.
