UN Women, the United Nations agency for gender equality and women’s empowerment, is set to launch the WeRise game application today, July 6th, to unite different individuals from Lebanon and various countries to promote gender equality.
WeRise app, which is also fun to use, aims to shed the light on the importance of engaging the youth to promote change in favor of gender equality.
As per Cosmopolitan Middle East, the launch will gather around 150 online participants from Lebanon, Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, Tunisia, and Morocco.
The application features many games with more than 100 levels that will take the players on a venture across many countries as they learn about gender equality in various fields, such as Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics, among others.
With UN Women’s WeRise app, the players can also browse for interactive blogs to discuss gender equality, compete with their friends to collect trophies, play solo challenges, and enjoy quizzes, word search, and picture puzzles.
The players can download the WeRise app on iPhone and Android devices.
Available in Arabic and English, this one-of-a-kind app will also let the players customize a 2D avatar, and give them the chance to place endless games both online and offline mode, to redeem points to unlock many features.
