Andrea Tenenti, UNIFIL’s official spokesperson, has confirmed that the organization is intensifying its vigilance over the unfolding events in Israel.
Stationed along the Blue Line, UNIFIL aims to keep the peace and prevent any escalation. In a discussion with the National News Agency, Tenenti elaborated, “We’ve augmented our forces across our operational zone to adapt to the evolving situation, including countering rocket launches.”
He also emphasized that UNIFIL’s leadership is in ongoing dialogue with all involved parties to coordinate effectively and avert misunderstandings.
The primary objective remains to sustain stability along the Blue Line and protect local residents from any severe repercussions.
