For the 17th year, PepsiCo and Ajialouna Association partnered to award university students in Lebanon with scholarships for the academic year 2022-2023.
The Tomooh Scholarship Program seeks to help eligible students with their university studies so they can “build a better future for themselves.”
The program also aims to “empower disadvantaged youths across the country by promoting social development through higher education with academic scholarships.”
Launched in 2006 by PepsiCo International in partnership with Ajialouna Organization, the Tomooh scholarship program selects university students in Lebanon between the ages of 18 and 22, of all genders and abilities.
The students are selected upon demonstrating high academic performance and financial need to support their scholarly fees.
According to Ajialouna Association, the value of a scholarship ranges between $500 and $5,000.
This year’s scholarship plans to help 356 students as follows:
- 92 students from the Lebanese American University (LAU)
- 120 students from the American University of Beirut (AUB)
- 44 students with special needs
- 100 students from other universities.
The deadline for the Tomooh Scholarship Program is June 30, 2022.
Students can apply for the scholarship here, where they can provide the necessary supporting documents.
