The U.S embassy in Beirut announced the 2023 Study of the United States Institutes (SUSI) for Young Women Leaders program.
With a series of scholarships and exchange programs opening for applications recently, this SUSI exchange program is in particular dedicated to women.
This program is designed to increase participants’ knowledge about the U.S. This includes U.S. history, societal elements, and other components of the U.S. culture.
Undergraduates from Lebanon, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, and Tunisia looking to weigh in on and leave an impact on the topic of women’s leadership are encouraged to participate in this program.
The five-week exchange program will kick off on June 2023 hosted by Saint Mary’s College in South Bend, Indiana.
Undergraduate Lebanese women between the ages of 18 and 25 are eligible to apply for the SUSI exchange program for young women leaders.
All major expenses are covered by the U.S. government and the deadline to apply is December 31st, 2022.
