U.S Mediator Arrived In Lebanon To Discuss The Border Demarcation Negotiations

Amos Hochstein

On Tuesday, the U.S mediator in the indirect negotiations to demarcate the southern maritime border, Amos Hochstein, met President Michel Aoun, in the presence of the American Ambassador Dorothy Shea.

He left after the meeting ended without making a statement.

Hochstein will convey Lebanon’s proposal to the Israeli side, and return to Lebanon after a week to follow up on the matter.

Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) Commander, General Joseph Aoun, met Hochstein in Yarzeh and stressed the position of the army in support of any decision taken by the political authority, and with any line that it adopts for the interest of Lebanon.
