In an effort to support students of a crumbling city, the Holy Spirit University of Kaslik (USEK) is now offering 200 full scholarships.
The scholarships are dedicated to students whose main residences or sources of main income have been destroyed by the blast.
“This initiative aims to restore hope among the youth so that they will be able to rebuild their dreams and pursue a better future,” wrote USEK in the press release.
One of Lebanon’s top-rated universities, USEK will be covering 100% of the tuition fees for 200 students throughout their entire Bachelor’s degree program.
The scholarships will be assigned on a first come first served (FCFS) basis. Affected students are advised to register the soonest.
