Saint Joseph University just qualified for the finals of the Hague Inter-University Law Debate Tournament 2022, which is set to take place in The Hague on Friday, June 24th.

The team is formed of three law students: Marc Morcos, Andrea Zmokhol, and Antoine Daher.

The finals and closing ceremony will be live-streamed on Corax Foundation’s YouTube channel at 4:30 PM Beirut time.

The tournament is an international competition created by the Corax Foundation in 2015 to connect talents from around the world.

The competition’s purpose is to adopt the study of international law along with news and development, and for the participants to apply their knowledge.

The competition has two stages: the research and preparation stage where teams have to prepare international law-related topics and the presentation stage where they will be given an assigned position to defend.

The team with the highest score wins the debate.
