There was a lot of excitement among many in Lebanon at the arrival of the first-ever shipment of the coronavirus vaccine, after a year of battling with the COVID-19 pandemic.
The thrill was also noticeable with many during the inoculation process at the centers, with people smiling widely and giving a thumb up to the camera.
However, this elderly man topped them all with his way of expressing his joy while readying for his vaccination, singing his heart out.
He was soon joined by doctors and nurses, and one doctor can be heard saying: “This is the essential vaccine,” referring to the high spirits of the elderly.
Given that Lebanon’s vaccination plan rolled out with some hospitals and MPs breaking the rules, the Lebanese public felt massively disheartened by the mess and favoritism, which they were promised would not happen.
However, this elderly man did not let anything or anyone put him down, giving a boost of anima to the people as his video went viral.
During these chaotic and dark times in Lebanon, a simple act of optimism such as this one could go a long way for the Lebanese people.
