Middle East Airlines (MEA) is Lebanon’s national flag-carrier airline. It was founded in 1945 and began operating in 1946. It flies to 32 destinations and has codeshare agreements with 14 airlines! Step back in time with these vintage pictures of Middle East Airlines!
In the beginning, the airline offered flights to Syria, Cyprus, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and other destinations in the Gulf. It added new destinations to Europe, West Africa, and other cities in the Middle East in 1963.
Last November, MEA has unveiled its new training center. The state-of-the-art facility is equipped with the latest technologies and tools that offer a good training for pilots, flight attendants, and staff members.
