The renowned Swedish DJ Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling, passed away at 28 in Muscat, Oman on April 20. He was also a remixer and a record producer. The Swedish DJ has a huge fan base in Lebanon. He performed in Beirut on July 23, 2016. The Lebanese violinist Andre Soueid created the violin cover of Wake Me Up to pay tribute to Avicii. Avicii is the pioneer of electronic dance music and influenced many world-famous musicians and DJs. May his soul rest in peace!
