Lebanon officially closed the voting polls at 7 PM Beirut time, and election delegates have begun counting the votes of the Lebanese expats according to districts.

Their numbers reached more than 142 000 voters.

According to the journalist Salman Andary, this process will change the voting percentage, and will probably delay the results.

The voting polls closed in many districts, however, PM Mikati announced that the electoral process will continue at polling stations where people are still waiting to cast their ballots.
