The Public Appeals Attorney for Mount Lebanon, Samer Laychah, issued a thirty-day warrant for an investigation on singer Wadih El Sheikh.
This comes after an altercation that took place last week in Hazmieh, in which shots were being fired.
Wadih el-Sheikh and his companions reportedly blocked the road in Hazmieh near the spa “Salon Soledair” and intercepted Jad El Masri, after which they beat him up and shot at his car.
A bullet hit Masri’s backseat, however, none got to him.
The argument is allegedly due to a comment posted on el-Masri’s social media.
Jad el Masri, who is the son of the Jaafari Mufti of Baalbek, submitted a complaint at the Furn el-Shebbak police station and requested an appeal from the Public Prosecution.
