Walid Fayyad holds an undergraduate degree in electronic appliances from MIT, and a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering also from MIT.

He also holds a degree in engineering from the French Ecole Polytechnique and a diploma in Arts and Industries from Ecole Centrale in Paris.

He held various positions in international companies.

He worked as Managing Director at the international consultancy company Partners in Performance until 2020 when he relinquished his role. The company has had a new Managing Director in the region since February 2021.

Prior to that, Walid Fayyad held the same position in Booz Allen Hamilton, which filed a lawsuit against him recently, accusing him of various infringements, including allegedly “misusing/disclosing confidential information to a competitor and misappropriating company’s funds.”
