The Lebanese Taekwondo player, Ward Salman, won a bronze medal in the Asian Taekwondo Championships 2022 hosted by South Korea.
Salman succeeded in climbing the podium for the 3rd place after beating the Vietnamese Ngan Noen by 2 rounds to 1 (2-1), before losing in the semi-finals to Kansel Deniz (Kazakhstan).
According to Arasportslb, Ward Salman was already ranked 34th in the world before entering the Asian Championships and will earn more points on the ranking list issued by the International Taekwondo Federation after winning the bronze medal.
This will allow her to collect more points to qualify for the Summer Olympics that will be held in Paris in 2024.
