“Music Video” Made To Raise Awareness Against Violence Against Women

A new “music video” was released in collaboration with KAFA to raise awareness for the exploitation and violence against women.

The video is a collaboration with actor Chady Richa, actress Loucyneh Dakessian Tcheulmekian, the artist Samer Taleb as well as KAFA.

KAFA is a fantastic organization that works to end the exploitation and violence against women.

In this short video, we see a scene where the husband is attacking his wife. The young son is trying to push his father away to stop him.

Unfortunately, this is a realistic scene that takes place way too often in Lebanese homes but rarely spoken about. A big thank you to Chady, Loucyneh, Samer, and KAFA for their great work and for raising awareness about this very important issue!

Our team works tirelessly to ensure Lebanese people have a reliable alternative to the politically-backed media outlets with their heavily-funded and dangerous propaganda machines. We've been detained, faced nonstop cyber attacks, censorship, attempted kidnapping, physical intimidation, and frivolous lawsuits draining our resources. Financial support from our readers keeps us fighting on your behalf. If you are financially able, please consider supporting The961's work. Support The961. Make a contribution now.
