There Is A Wine & Music Festival Taking Place This Month In Batroun

For wine and music lovers in Lebanon, this festival comes to give them the time of their life, in the historical site of Citadel Smar Jbeil in the Batroun District.

Located on a hill facing the Mediterranean Sea, the Citadel Smar Jbeil will host the cultural festival “De Vin et De Musique” Festival on July 30th and 31st.

Aiming to revive the Batroun area, the festival will highlight the heritage value of the beautiful fortress, which has a breathtaking panoramic view over Byblos and Tripoli.

The Festival will host the international bandoneonist Mario Stefano Pietrodarchi and his string quintet to perform two concerts under the participation of composer the Lebanese composer, Khaled Mouzanar.

“Cine e tango” will also include music by Ennio Morricone, Nino Rota, Astor Piazzolla, and Khaled Mouzanar.

Guests will also get the opportunity to enjoy a wine tasting event from local wine producers at sunset before the concert, in addition to a cold cuts buffet after the concert.

Doors will open at 7:00 pm, and the tickets are sold for $50.
