The Minister of Industry in Lebanon’s caretaker government, George Bouchikian, issued a decree that requires large establishments with over 30 employees to hire people with special needs.
Establishments that do not abide by this decree will be punished by law.
As an encouragement for these large workplaces to employ people with special needs, those hiring more than the required number will benefit from income tax deductions.
